GOALS
- To promote interest in the science of astronomy, especially for
our children, and their children.
- To stimulate questions in everyone who visits here about the
nature of the universe.
- To record some small parts of the night sky, to look for changes
in a largely unchanging universe.

The PRODOME 10 foot dome houses an LX200 10 inch telescope,
with an SXV-H9 camera. An ST-4 autoguider is used for guiding. I use a
Losmandy G11 equatorial mount for several different scopes. |

| The dome on a frosty December
morning. Thank goodness for the local area network that lets me manage imaging from
inside the house. |

| A Takahashi Sky90 and
Stellarvue AT1010 are mounted side by side. The Sky90 is used for
wide field imaging while the AT1010 acts as a guidescope, using an ST-4
autoguider. |
A True Technology filter wheel provides
automated change of filters during imaging runs. I currently use
Schuler RGcBc filters with built in IR blocking. |
